Alanya is a city in Antalya, which is located in 36.54 latitudes and 32.00 longitude and 12 meters above sea level. It leads from north to the Tarus Mountains and southwards to the Mediterranean Sea. As Antalya’s third largest city, Alanya has about 112,99 people. Its time zone is the same as Antalya. Analya is 2 hours away from the international airport in Antalya and about one hour away from Gazipaşa airport. There are cheap Dolmuş in the downtown so that you can travel to all parts of the city. Walking in Alanya is the best choice except for the hot days of July and August, which is better to take vehicles. Most people walk to see Alanya Castle; but if you have no tendency to walk all the way to the top of the hill, you can take a taxi, Dolmuş, use electric scooter or rent a bicycle.
